The Days That Started It

This video is one of my favorites.  Probably doesn't seem too cool to most people, but for myself and the other kids in it, this video means a lot.  Growing up, us four hung out every single day.  Eventually,  college spread us out and I ended up moving to Maine to live at the track.  It was cool all riding together, it was the first time it had happened in years.

But let me cut to the chase....

The last line at the end of the video is hard to understand, but it says "BYB Original".  Let me explain it; Back in the day, we liked filming and making videos together.  Our first video was called Backyard Bikers.  After that, everything was BYB.  Although the interesting part to this is that I wasn't allowed to help.  We would sit there, Adam Eli and myself working on these videos, but I wasn't allowed to even touch the mouse.  I sat there the entire time while those two put it together.  I think this was good though, because it made me jealous, or maybe annoyed.  I'm not sure.  But afterwards, I borrowed all the tapes and made my own video.  Then a day later, I was making another video.  And after that, another.  I kept re-using the footage because it's all I had but I wanted to keep making videos.  We joke about it now, the fact that I wasn't allowed to help with the videos back in the day because they thought i would ruin it, but it's all good.  I feel like thats why I'm doing what I'm doing now.  And so back to the BYB days, cheers.
