Coming in hot for the 8th place spot is "MA's Finest", with Jake Abbott, Jimmy D, and Mike Sottile. All three of them were lighting it up that day, and it was only the start of a hot spell. Jimmy stepped back on to the national scene and continued to make a name for himself, as Sottile did the same. Showing up to Southwick about a week after shooting this, Mike got his day going early by laying down the fastest lap. The media tent was buzzing about this "Mike Sottile" kid and everyone was asking if it was that kid from the "MA's Finest" video. For being one of the most humble kids on the track who can absolutely rip with an effortless style, it was good to see him getting some well deserved attention.
