2 Stroke Nats

Best Blogger Tips

Lets talk about this video we've got here. It's from the second day of this past weekend's double day with NEMX, and Sunday was a combined race day with the Maine Motocross Series. The two organizations together got an awesome turn out and some near-full gate racing. One thing to notice was all the 2-strokes that were running up front. Seemed like these things were going to be a thing of the past and no matter what people did or said, that wasn't going to change. But over the past year or so, they have definitely been popping up more and more. I've done zero research on this, but I've been hearing that Yamaha isn't make a 125 any more? Is that true? Hopefully not. KTM has always been a bit behind, take for example their linkage issue with the suspension. Took a while for them to catch on to that one. But I think I'm going to take advantage on their behind the times style because it looks like they may be the only ones supplying some 2-strokes in the 125 category.
Next time NEMX returns to MX207 won't be until July 16th and 17th. But mark you calendars folks, it's a weekend you don't want to miss. Other than getting to race, or even just watch the 125cc only class, you'll get to race the track in it's best condition. This is the weekend of our Maine State Motocross Championship. My favorite thing about this weekend, personally, is the scoring format where you get scored on your best 3 out of 4 motos. But until then, check out Sunday's action right here:
