The Marshalls

Best Blogger Tips
The season is pretty much done with and we're at that time of year where you're about ready to put it behind you.  After chasing race after race always on the go, you start to forget that riding is fun.  But Robby Marshall's got the perfect spot to have a good time.  With endless trails, a few tracks, and massive booters, it's the place to be, and make a video.  We'd been talking about setting up this shoot for a while but it took forever to find a day that worked out.  As I talked about in the preview video, something always came up.  But with the support of Factory Connection, we were able to get it done.
We've all been to sandpits and found a few hills to jump.  Sometimes there is even a shovel kicking around and you can build a few kickers.  And it's not bad, but you really wish you could get a dozer out there or something right?  Check out this picture above.  Robby's got the pit and just about every piece of equipment needed.  He's used whats available and made some of the sickest jumps I'd ever seen.  Although 90% of you guys reading this would not hit a single one of these (I include myself in this 90%), but thats what makes this as epic as it is.  New Englands fastest riders having fun with no limits but their own and if there is one thing I've figure out about these kids is:  There are no limits.  What one does, the others got to do it better.
The jump people talk about most here is the "230".  It's wide open, as far as you can go.  No matter how far you over jump it by, it'll be better than casing it.  Because not clearing it means jumping 200 something ft. into a wall, it's a straight up ledge.  But just before shooting, we extended the landing and they were able to hit it as fast as they wanted.  The above picture is Jake Abbott floatin sideways on it.  Aside from the size making this jump intimidating, the +30 mph crosswinds made it twice as bad.  But we were there to shoot a video, so there was no holding back.   Pressed for daylight due to the windy day and late start, more time to shoot would have been nice but here you have it folks: Moto Limelight's, "The Marshalls"
