Last year at Jacksonville, there were two ladies that thought the race would be cancelled when James Stewart got hurt. There is always a handful of people at the races that have absolutely no idea about what's going on. I don't know why they have tickets or how they got them, but they're there. Last weekend at Phoenix, I landed myself right in the middle of this sort of crowd. All I do is a blog and a YouTube channel, which means I'm qualified for nothing. I couldn't bring the camera and I couldn't sit with industry. Instead, I found a square of squares and was there for the night. Infront of me was Metal Mulisha. How bad ass is that? And to my left was some WORCS racing dude who could care less about Stewy and RV and all them. This would have been fine had my friend not introduced him to me. From that point on, the guy would not stop telling me who I should be putting in my videos. Apparently the WORCS series is loaded and I'm totally missing everything. But let me tell you this: When I'm in the stands during a SX main event, I couldn't care any less about looking at videos you want to show me on your phone.
To my right was your typical mall rat moto fans; giant flat brim black and pink Fox hat pulled right down to their eyes. Her and her friend definitely hit up PacSun together on their way to the track because they were head to toe in black fox apparel. They made sure to fit in and have plenty of pictures to prove it. From opening ceremonies to the end of the night, they were snapping away. Straight through the Moss/Sipes race, and even when Stewy served up the two for one combo under Reed. To top it all off, it was your typical myspace picture time after time with the peace gestures and the kissy faces to the max.
But at least these girls kept to themselves. If the guys behind me were anything like that I would have been pumped. Instead, they were the drunk BRO's. Just like the girls to my right, these guys didn't have a care in the world for the racing. They were there for the wave and did everything they could to bring it in. Unfortunately for them, nobody else had much interest in throwing their arms up in any sort of orderly fashion. But these guys didn't let up, nor did they shut up. If I am ever that guy trying to start the wave, I want to be told to shut up immediately, I'll totally understand.

Amen!!
